About Sam
Sam works more on the back-end, such as GDPR, contracts and other legal matters. Sam's experience in local government makes him invaluable to the team. He also assists with growth plans, strategies, funding & investment seeking. He is also the head of artist liaison at Hammerdown Festival.
My Story
Sam has years of music industry experience, working for sound & lighting company TSL in Burgess Hill, where he learned his trade rigging stages and adapting to different venues and spaces including major O2 arenas. Sam has been involved with Hammerdown for a number of years, working closely with Harry as artist liaison manager at Hammerdown Festival, and also with a lot of the planning, promotion and preparation leading up to the events. More recently, a change of heart took Sam into local government at 2 different councils, gaining a lot of valuable administrative & legal experience, working on legal, governance and organisational development. Drawing for a broad set of skills and experience Sam's goals are to continue to grow the Hammerdown brand through new avenues, whilst improving the channels we currently operate through.
